As you can see from the picture above, there's a whole section of channel strip presets under the "Legacy" folder of MainStage. (if you're missing this section, make sure you have downloaded all the additional MainStage content and that you haven't deleted Garageband off your Mac). Most of the synth presets use those hidden synth plugins that MainStage doesn't show you by default. They have names like "AnMorph", "Hybrid Morph", "Hybrid Basic", and "DgStepr" to name a few. Their visual interface is basic and utilitarian and they were obviously each designed to deliver a specific type of sound. Sometimes, their simplicity is just what you need. My favorite two from this list of hidden plugins are definitely the "Hybrid Basic" and "Hybrid Morph" plugins. They offer different wave shapes you can select between using the drop down menu and you can even map filter cutoff to the mod wheel. Sometimes it's a super easy way to dial up a quick lead or pad sound.I hope these plugins are fun for you to play around with! Feel free to share what you come up with!

Apple MainStage 3.2 For Mac Free Download
MainStage is a 302 MB download from the Mac App Store and is priced at $29.99, although the 2.2.1 update is of course free for current MainStage 2.2 users. Formerly a component of the Logic Studio suite, Apple moved MainStage (and Logic Pro) to the Mac App Store last December.
Apple has announced the release of a major update to GarageBand for iOS that provides even more creative options for making music on iPhone and iPad. The v2.3 update introduces a new GarageBand Sound Library, where users can select and download a variety of free sound packs featuring new instruments and loops. Beat makers can tap into a new Beat Sequencer instrument inspired by classic drum machines. The app also features new Asian Touch Instruments and updates to Drummer, including six additional players.
With the GarageBand Sound Library users can now preview and download new Apple-designed sounds and instruments right within the app. These free, downloadable sound packs contain a variety of Touch Instruments, Apple loops, Live Loops templates, guitar and instrument presets and more. Users can access the Sound Library from multiple places within GarageBand and will receive alerts when new sound packs are available. Initial sound packs include Future Bass, Reggaeton, Beat Sequencer kits, guitar amp tones and more. New sound packs will be released periodically by Apple.
GarageBand 2.3 for iOS is available today as a free download on the App Store. It is compatible with devices running iOS 11, including iPhone 5s and later, iPad mini 2 and later and iPod Touch 6th generation. 2ff7e9595c
